Zeal are actively involved with “The Soul Food” Christian bookstall in the Brentwood Street market. We support the ministry with a personal presence handing out tracts and having conversations and praying with folk sharing the love of Jesus.
These are the aims and objectives of the visionaries and founders of this work
AIMS AND OBJECTIVES
- To have a Christian presence in the town centre of Brentwood.
- To be able to give an account of our faith at any time.
- To provide an opportunity for people to access Christian material as there is no Christian bookshop in town.
- To provide an opportunity for people to speak to Christians about their needs.
- To encourage Christians who do not attend church to join one of BADEF’s churches
- To pray with people, pray for people in church and direct them to services where they can get help.
- To encourage Christians in their walk with God.
- To raise money for charity if the need arises.
- To work with other Christians in unity.
- To show people that Christians can work together.
